Who we are
This website is run by Serenity Minds Uganda Limited, Ndejje Zanta Road, off Kampala–Entebbe Road, Wakiso, Uganda. We handle personal data in line with the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019 of Uganda.
What we collect
- Forms. When you book a session, contact us or offer to get involved, we receive what you type: usually your name, phone number, email and message.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, we keep your email address and, if given, your first name.
- Donations. Donorbox processes your payment. We receive your name, email and gift amount, never your card details.
The website itself does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
Only to reply to you, arrange care you asked for, send the newsletter you signed up for, and thank and update donors. We never sell or rent personal information.
Services we rely on
- Cloudflare hosts the website and checks forms for spam (Turnstile).
- Resend delivers our emails and stores the newsletter list.
- Donorbox processes donations.
- Google Maps shows our location on the contact page.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to respond and provide care. You can leave the newsletter at any time with the link in every email, and we delete your address from the list.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Write to support@serenitymindsug.org and we will respond within 30 days.
Clinical records
Information shared during sessions is kept separately under clinical confidentiality and is never stored on this website.
